However, a decline in social relationships, participation, and interactions, leading to a reduction in the social capital of residents, is observed in many urban spaces. From this perspective, creating and redeveloping socially acceptable spaces as venues for social interactions towards the establishment of sustainable urban environments has been a significant goal in recent decades. Socially acceptable urban spaces are those where the noticeable presence and diversity of individuals, in terms of age and gender, engage in their activities predominantly on a voluntary or social basis over a wide time range. Accordingly, this research has been conducted to assess and analyze Bagh-e Vakilabad in Mashhad from the perspective of its social acceptability. The data collection method for this research is based on social (questionnaire tool) and physical (observation) surveys, where 200 users and attendees of Bagh-e Vakilabad in Mashhad were randomly interviewed. The results of this research were analyzed using the one-sample t-test. The findings indicate that Bagh-e Vakilabad in Mashhad is in a desirable state in terms of the social, physical, and functional components of social acceptance in urban spaces. Thus, with a confidence level of 95%, it can be acknowledged that Bagh-e Vakilabad in Mashhad is characterized by favorable conditions of social acceptability. امروزه، میزان موفقیت فضاهای شهری با میزان استفاده از آن فضا و حضور انسان در آن متناسب است. بااین‌‌حال، کاهش روابط، مشارکت، تعاملات و در عمل، کاهش سرمایه اجتماعی ساکنان در اغلب فضاهای شهری مشاهده می‌‌شود. از این منظر، ایجاد و بازتولید فضاهای اجتماع‌‌پذیر به‌عنوان محل رخداد تعاملات اجتماعی در راستای خلق محیط‌‌های شهری پایدار، یکی از اهدافی است که طی دهه‌‌های اخیر برای این منظور بسیار موردتوجه قرارگرفته است. فضاهای شهری اجتماع‌‌پذیر عبارت است از یک فضای شهری که در آن حضور تعداد قابل‌توجهی از افراد و تنوع آن‌ها به لحاظ سن و جنس در گستره زمانی وسیعی از روز که فعالیت‌‌هایشان عمدتاً به شکل انتخابی یا اجتماعی بروز می‌‌یابد، به چشم می‌‌خورد؛ بنابراین، پژوهش حاضر در راستای سنجش و تحلیل باغ وکیل‌‌آباد شهر مشهد از منظر اجتماع‌‌پذیری آن انجام‌ گرفته است. روش جمع‌‌آوری اطلاعات این پژوهش مبتنی بر پیمایش اجتماعی (ابزار پرسش‌‌نامه) و کالبدی (مشاهده) بوده که در آن، 200 نفر از استفاده‌‌کنندگان و حاضران واقع در باغ وکیل‌‌آباد شهر مشهد به‌صورت تصادفی مورد پرسشگری واقع شدند. نتایج این پژوهش با استفاده از آزمون t تک‌‌نمونه‌‌ای تجزیه‌‌و‌‌تحلیل ‌شده است. نتایج این پژوهش حاکی از آن است که باغ وکیل‏آباد شهر مشهد از منظر مؤلفه‌های اجتماعی، کالبدی و عملکردی اجتماع‌‌پذیری فضاهای شهری در وضعیت مطلوبی قرار دارد. بدین ترتیب، در سطح اطمینان 95 درصد می‌‌توان اذعان داشت که باغ وکیل‌‌آباد شهر مشهد از منظر اجتماع‌‌پذیری از شرایط مطلوبی برخوردار است. /downloadfilepdf/336102
